The Quiet Return of Luxury
Luxury once spoke in whispers - of rarity, of devotion, of beauty shaped by patient hands. In time, its meaning thinned, weighed down by excess and the chase for surface shine. Now, many turn away from the noise, drawn instead to a luxury that feels as it once did; honest, considered, and deeply personal.
At ISTINARA, each piece begins as an act of wild imagination, its form guided by a story that breathes life into the design. We choose stones for their spirit as much as their brilliance, spend countless hours perfecting each curve, and honor the craft passed through generations. Here, luxury is not owned. It is experienced.

Jewelry Shaped by Centuries
In Istanbul’s Kapalıçarşı, founded under the reign of Mehmed II, jewelry took root beneath domes built to guard the rare and the precious. Around these vaulted halls, a labyrinth of hans, workshop inns, became a living academy of craft, where masters shaped not only metal and stone, but the hands and eyes of the apprentices beside them.
Artisans came from across the empire, among them Armenian goldsmiths famed for their skill, braiding cultures and techniques into a single, enduring tradition. That legacy still hums through the Grand Bazaar’s narrow corridors. Every ISTINARA piece is born in this rarefied world, dreamed in wild imagination, carried through the same bedesten-anchored lineage, and finished by hands that keep alive methods now vanishing elsewhere. In each curve, each glint of stone, the centuries speak - quietly, but with a voice that endures.

Our Founder’s Journey
ISTINARA was founded by Mira Sadi, a London - and Istanbul - based ecopreneur who left the corporate world to unite her passion for design with a deep commitment to responsible living and an innate love for nature. Born in Rome to a Palestinian-Jordanian father and Turkish mother, and fluent in four languages, Mira’s journey has spanned Jordan, Montreal, London, and Istanbul, studying Commerce at McGill University and Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University. Her career began in luxury fashion and property development before she launched her own namesake brand. After years of running it, she sought a deeper purpose: to create a house where beauty and responsibility are inseparable. Today, as Creative and Strategic Director of ISTINARA, she shapes jewelry that embodies wild imagination, enduring craftsmanship, and a conscious respect for the world we share; luxury designed to leave a lasting, radiant mark on both our wardrobes and our future. Alongside ISTINARA, she also founded an e-waste management company in Jordan, dedicated to tackling the world’s growing electronic waste crisis.
